Statistical analysis using Microsoft excel 2007, mini tab v.16 program, the statistical significant level was P = 0.05.

Results: Patients treated by early hip spica cast had no stiffness or malunion while those treated by late hip spica cast 2 cases developed stiffness, 4 cases developed rotational deformity and 2 cases had limb length discrepancy.
